Book Review: “Everyone Communicates, Few Connect”

The new book by John C. Maxwell, “Everyone Communicates, Few Connect”, gives another great summary of how to connect with other people in the correct way.  This book follows along the same principles as others by Maxwell, i.e., it’s all about other people, go beyond the words, it is more skill than talent, connect on common ground, etc.

What I like about this book, however, is that Maxwell uses a multitude of examples — from famous names to the unknown, to illustrate how these principles work.  In addition, Maxwell writes in layman’s language so it’s easy for anyone to digest.  I would highly recommend this book to anyone in any vocation or situation, from the career person to the stay at home parent.
